Sterling Silver Combretum Pod Necklace

Our silver combretum pod necklace is inspired by Mother Natures' own perfect design. We did take a little liberty with her design and took off one of the wings on this pod as this does help to make sure it can lie flat when worn.

Combretums are basically a shrub although as a kid wandering around in the bush I was absolutely sure they were trees none the less they are actually shrubs. And any kid wandering through the bush in Zimbabwe will tell you, is one of the most prized finds on a walk because of its cool shape!

We hand-make each one of these pods so they are always slightly different, just as they are in nature. You can pair this with a 45, 50 or 55 cm long silver chain.

Due to the fact that shipping from Zimbabwe can be a challenge at times, we are now working with DHL through their E-Commerce – Handmade in Africa program and shipping at a much-reduced rate with them.

Shipping is included in the price you see for this item. For most places in the UK or US, it takes about 5 days to ship to you during non-holiday periods. Canada sometimes takes a bit longer. Unfortunately, Australia has a surcharge so we do not include free shipping to Australia.

Packaging
Your jewellery will arrive carefully packed in an African-print cloth bag and protected during transport by our stunning handmade sisal baskets.

Production & Shipping
Please allow approximately 5 - 7 working days for your piece to be handmade before shipping. If you need the product urgently, please contact us, and we will see if the product is in stock for quicker shipping. Unfortunately, we are unable to do this for any customised pieces.
