We love doing our part for the environment by repurposing silver whenever possible!

Sterling and fine silver can be smelted down and made into brand-new jewellery; same shine, same quality, just a lot less waste.

When someone brings in old silver, we always test it first to check the purity, usually with a small scratch test and some acid. It’s a quick, simple process, and it helps us make sure we’re working with genuine silver before we recycle it.

The best part? We never know what’s coming through the door. It’s like opening a treasure chest! We’ve seen old candlesticks, heirloom cutlery, and even a century-old trophy that once celebrated a horse race.

Some pieces are too lovely to melt, but when they’ve lost their sentimental value, it feels good to give them a new life. Recycling silver helps reduce the need for mining, which is a win for the planet, and it means we’re creating beautiful pieces with less environmental impact.
